Project Achievement Awards Committee
Chair: Keith Flaherty
The Project Achievement Awards Committee is composed of owners and professional
construction managers. In judging the entries, the Committee will consider outcomes,
overall management, safety, quality management, cost management, schedule management,
complexity, innovation and creativity, and customer satisfaction as the basis
for the award. The judging process will take place at the desecration of the
Project Achievement Awards Chair and each firm will be notified of the schedule.
Those firms whose entries were not selected will receive judges’ comments for
use in future nominations. The Project Achievement Awards Chair attends all Board
of Directors meetings.

Membership Committee
Co-Chairs – Natalie Saylor; Tom Holdrege
The Membership Committee Chair is responsible for coordinating membership
recruitment; follows up with prospective members; and mails membership applications
and information as requested. He or she provides a New Member update and summary
to the Board of Directors, the Chapter and CMAA. The Membership Committee Chair
provides articles for the quarterly newsletter and interacts with the CMAA national
membership representative. He or she is responsible for a complete roll of the
names and addresses of the members of the Chapter and for informing the Board
of Directors, the Chapter and the CMAA national executive staff of same. The
Membership Committee Chair assists with membership surveys and volunteer recruitment.
He or she also is responsible for managing the Certified Construction Manager
(CCM) Subcommittee, and shall attend all Board of Directors meetings.

Program Committee

The Program Committee Chair works with program consultants to develop educational
workshops and dinner and networking programs for the Chapter. He or she assists
the program consultants in coordinating any other special programs the Board
of Directors authorizes; provides articles for the Chapter newsletter; and chairs
the quarterly Program Committee meetings. The Program Committee Chair attends
all Board of Directors meetings.

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee Chair works with local universities to ensure that
CMAA and the Chapter have a presence at the respective university student functions,
encourages student membership in the Chapter and CMAA, and assists students in
becoming active members of CMAA. The Scholarship Committee Chair provides summary
articles for the Chapter newsletter and participates on the Scholarship Committee. The
Scholarship Committee Chair attends all Board of Directors meetings. In addition,
this year's Chair started the Chapter Website.

CCM Committee
Chair – Kevin Swazas
The CCM Committee Chair oversees the activities of the CCM Committee and assures
that the activities of the committee are consistent with the direction of the
Board of Directors and the policies and directives of the Construction Manager
Certification Institute (CMCI). The CCM Committee Chair shall liaise with the
CMCI representative at the national office. The CCM Committee Chair will develop
and implement programs, informational presentations, and other aids to promote
CCM among the construction owners of the region and to assist and mentor members
pursuing the CCM certification. The CCM Committee Chair shall be a Certified
Construction Manager, unless waived by the Board of Directors, and he or she
shall attend all Board of Directors meetings.

Owners Committee
Co-Chairs: Larry Smith; LTC Don K. Davis.
The Owners Committee Chair
oversees the activities of the Owners Committee. This
committee shall develop and implement programs and informational presentations
intended to aid public or private entities that are consistently engaged in the
activity of constructing capital improvements and facilities for itself, referred
to as Owners, to understand construction management principles and practice,
CMAA, and the value of the Certified Construction Manager designation. All
such activities shall be consistent with the direction of the Board of Directors. The
Owners Committee Chair shall be a member in good standing with CMAA and a representative
of an Owner organization.
He or she shall attend all Board of Directors
meetings.
