CMAA Northern California Chapter's Scholarship Program began in 2005 and is based on our chapter's support for local construction management college students. The basic concept is to provide financial assistance to students who are underway in college, with CM as a goal.

2009 CMAA Nor Cal Scholarships Awards

The 2009 CMAA Nor Cal Scholarship awards and plaques were presented at the Awards Dinner at the City Club, San Francisco by Scholarships Director Perry Petersen.

Ten awards totaling $15,000 went to the top students from four northern California colleges with CM programs, including U.C. Berkeley, Stanford, Cal State Chico and San Jose State.

The presentation dinner was attended by construction managers from northern California firms including Don Todd Associates, Ghirardelli, Harris & Associates, Hatch Mott MacDonald, HDR, Shaw, Jacobs, MWH, PB, Saylor, Towill, URS, Vanir, Vali Cooper, CH2M Hill, Kleinfelder, Swinerton, APSI Construction Management, Caltrop, Clemans, CM Pros, Critical Solutions, Hill International, MacDonald Bedford, Nolte, O’Connor Construction, Petersen Construction Services, Psomas and Swinerton.
