The City of Sunnyvale (City) will seek proposals for construction management services for a new administrative, water quality laboratory, and maintenance building, called the Cleanwater Center at the Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant. The City expects the construction management consultant (CMC) to be the focal point for construction oversight of the Cleanwater Center construction process.

 

The scope of work will consist of design phase, bid phase, and construction phase services. Specifically, the CMC is expected to be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: biddability reviews, constructability reviews, construction management, meeting coordination, commissioning coordination, construction schedule and budget controls, site safety plan and implementation, records management, multidiscipline inspections, materials testing coordination, and project closeout services. The request for proposals is expected to advertise in February/March 2025. The Cleanwater Center design is underway, and the CMC is anticipated begin work between the 75% and 90% design milestones.
