African American Wellness Hub Project - GSA, Alameda County

The County of Alameda has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design-Build Entities to submit proposals for the new African American Wellness Hub located at 1918 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Oakland, CA. This transformative project includes demolition of an existing structure and construction of an approximately 18,000 GSF wellness facility that will serve as a cultural anchor focused on holistic African American health, education, and community connection. The project will be delivered under a Progressive Design-Build model with a targeted LEED Silver certification.

Sealed proposals are due by 2:00 PM on July 29, 2025. Interested firms must access the full RFQ documents via the Alameda County GSA website. Participation of Small Local Emerging Businesses (SLEBs) is strongly encouraged.
