The Construction Management Association of America, Northern California Chapter (CMAA NorCal Chapter) is pleased to announce our 2023 Scholarship Program. This program was created in accordance with our Chapter Bylaws and our mission to promote excellence and professionalism in Construction Management (CM). We hope to have another year of outstanding applicants and give recognition to those students that demonstrate exceptional scholastic achievement and promise as future CM practitioners.

PURPOSE

The program is designed to recognize and provide financial assistance to Northern California area college students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate level CM programs.

APPLICATION, CRITERIA AND EVALUATION

 

• $50,000 will be awarded through twelve (12) individual scholarships. One (1) at $8,000, one (1) at $7,000, one (1) at $6,000, two (2) at $5,000, two (2) at $3,000, two (2) at $2,500 and three (3) at $2,000.

• Each application will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the criteria stated in the application.

• $1,500 will be awarded to the top scholarship winner’s University CMAA student chapter.

• Your college or university must be one of the following: Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, CSU Sacramento, CSU Chico, CSU Fresno, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CSU San Jose or CSU East Bay. Colleges or Universities in Northern California for applicants pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a degree in Civil Engineering with a recognized major in Construction Management will be considered.

• Students interested in being considered for a scholarship need to complete the 2023 Scholarship Application Package. Applications are due by March 31, 2023 @ 5:00 PM, submit to email listed below.

• NOTE: Scholarship recipients must be available to attend the 2023 CMAA NorCal Gala scheduled for June 8, 2023 in Sacramento. The scholarship winners will also receive airfare (if necessary), hotel accommodation and full access to the 2023 CMAA NorCal Gala.
