Scholarship Program

Our chapter’s Scholarship Program was created with the mission to promote excellence and professionalism in Construction Management. This program is designed to recognize and provide financial assistance to college students in the Northern California area enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate program in one of our partnered colleges/universities.  Our chapter has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship since our establishment in 2001.

  • $13,000 will be awarded through six (6) individual scholarships. One (1) at $4,000, one (1) at $3,000, two (2) at $2,000, two (2) at $1,000.

  • The top scholarship winner will also receive round trip airfare, hotel accommodation and full access to the 2019 CMAA Rising CM Conference in Orlando.

  • The top two scholarship recipients will be awarded a guaranteed paid internship with one of the participating companies: Kitchell, AECOM, Arcadis, Swinerton Management or Vanir.

  • Each recipient will receive two (2) tickets to attend the Annual CMAA Northern California Chapter Scholarship/Awards Banquet on April 25th, 2019 at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel, 500 J Street, Sacramento, CA.for the winner and the winner’s guest.

  • Your college or university must be one of the following: Stanford, UC Berkeley, Sacramento State, Chico State, Fresno State Cal Poly (SLO) State University, San Jose State, CSU East Bay and San Francisco
